The economic climate has never been more conducive to entrepreneurship if all business forum speakers are to be believed. But the question will always be whether it's persuading a field full of risk as opposed to the possible proverbial 9 to 5 job routine.

Most people in this day and age due to various factors feel compromised by the opportunities of job salaries that they may not have dreamt of but are lured in because of the chance to receive payment. As a member of the youth the recent Andrew Morrison business forum at the University of Botswana auditorium opened up greater ideas to which the youth can explore. Andrew Morrison has appeared on Oprah is celebrated entrepreneur who specialise in marketing and is the president of the small business Camp.

He gave students a chance to express their ideas and in return he helped mould their business ideas. The calling or your purpose and knowing what you were meant to be or do in this lifetime is a question most people ask themselves daily. Young minds need to dream and keep their dreams alive by actively taking an interest in their passion or things that deem to come naturally. He gave an example of someone who has specific teaching skill may only see himself as teacher but according to Morrison thinking outside the box could lead to television roles and broader roles in which to educate people.

You ask almost any Sports figures they will be the first to state that they have been dreaming or playing since they could remember. For example playing tennis at the age of four grooming themselves into the international icons they are today.

The current unemployment rates point to disastrous scenario for future graduates. Receiving mentorship is something that is often overlooked in Botswana but in other countries it plays a major part in career and but here in Botswana only a select few institutions place emphasis on .For many a career is just a dream that many that they never fulfil. A career can be generally defined as a course of progression towards lifelong lifetime goal by using acquired skill or knowledge.
