- Undertake institutional audits in accordance with set procedures and guidelines
- Liaise with NCQF Service on any aspects of registration and accreditation that require their clarification or advise and ensure compliance with NCQF
- Conduct workshop with Education and Training providers to define requirements, explain the procedures and guidelines for preparing the self-review report
- Advice and guide institutions on matters regarding the audits
- Select and setup audit Panels (with specialists as external members) to examine applications
- Accompany the Audit Panels with visiting the institution
- Seek approval with applicants on membership of Audit Panel to ensure that there is no conflict of interest
- Organize logistics for pre-audit and post-audit panel meetings (findings and recommendations
- Advise and assist institutions to set up a quality management system and on how to comply with the requirements of legislation, regulations and standards for provision of quality education and training

Qualifications and Requirements

- At least a Degree in Education Management from a recognized institution or any other relevant qualification acceptable to BQA

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Experience in quality assurance within an Education and Training environment (General Education, TVET and/or Higher Education) will be an added advantage


- Knowledge of the provisions of the National Credit and Qualifications Framework
- Knowledge of the Education/Training sector (Including policies/strategies) in Botswana
- Knowledge of relevant legislations and regulations governing the sector
- Knowledge of registration and accreditation and quality assurance
- Computer literate. Experience with systems and applications in the specific work area
