Q. Do you have any openings?


Individual open positions are posted on an ongoing basis in the online JobLink system under latest jobs.



Q. If you don't currently have a vacancy that matches my profile, can I send you my resume?


Yes. If you do not see a vacancy in your field, you might find it helpful to review the available company profiles on careers4bw.com to see if they typically hire professionals in your area of expertise. If they do, please consider completing a Candidate Profile through My Career Centre in careers4bw.com. If you complete the registration, we will send you e-mails when we have a vacancies that suit your interests. Please note that the careers4bw.com does not accept applications or resumes outside of the online My Careers registration system.



Q. How do I create or complete a profile?


To create a profile, you must first register with ICC eRecruitment by clicking here. In order to register, you will need to enter your first and last name, a valid e-mail address, and create a user name and password. After registration, you will be taken to your Candidate Profile, where you enter your personal data, education, work experience, competencies, preferences and other requested information. All fields marked with an asterisk must be completed.



Q. May I make changes to my candidate profile?


Yes, you may make changes to a previously completed registration at any time.



Q. What if I forget my password?


Click on the “Lost your password?” link in the login slider and enter your e-mail address and user name where specified. A temporary password will be e-mailed to you, which can be used to log in and establish a new password.



Q. What should I include in my education profile?


Your education profile should include all secondary and post-secondary education you have received from an accredited institution. Accredited institutions are those that have been recognized or otherwise sanctioned by competent authorities in participating countries.



Q. Do I have to answer all the profile questions in one session?


No. You can save the information you entered and return at a later time to finish your profile. Please note that if you do not complete your profile prior to submitting an application, your application will not be considered.



Q. Is my profile information kept confidential?

Q. Do you advertise part-time jobs?


Yes, however, there are very few part-time openings.



Q. Does careers4bw.com consider candidates residing outside Botswana or non-Botswana citizens?


Yes. Careers4bw.com caters to all those who are interested in pursuing a career within the republic of Botswana.



Q. What languages are used on careers4bw.com?


The working language of the website is English, and verbal and written proficiency in this language is therefore essential. Nonetheless, we would like to reassure non-native English speakers that their English does not have to be perfect, but it does need to be good enough to draft papers and to carry out technical discussions and negotiations our team and potential employers.



Q. Do I need to register or log in to view a vacancy?


No. You may search for vacancies without logging in by clicking the Search link. However, you will need to register and to create and complete a profile to apply.



Q. How will I find out about vacancies?


There are two ways to find out about current and projected staff vacancies. The first way is to search the system; jobs are grouped by functional area, level and company. Second, you can make your profile available to recruiters, even if you are not applying for a specific job. They may then contact you regarding vacancies in which you may be interested. To do this, you must complete your employment and education history (among other areas) and hit the “Release Profile” button. Given the volume of applications received, this is not a guarantee, however, that you will be contacted regarding all jobs for which you may be suitable.
